I hope that everyone reading this had a great Christmas and wonderful start to the new year.
We spent our holiday traveling from Houston, to Ft. Worth, to home, to Houston again, and finally back home. The reason for all of the traveling is due to the fact that we are renovating our home currently. Our contractors were able to do most of the work while we were away. This week we have a sheetrock/texture guy coming to finish up the walls. Hopefully he will be able to slap some paint on the walls to make this project complete. Once this phase is over we will start on the kitchen! I am SO not looking forward to that. We will be gutting the kitchen pretty much so that means a family of 3 living without a kitchen for a while. I guess it will all be worth it once it is complete. Mike has completed our master bath which is AWESOME! He will be putting new flooring in the living room and kitchen once the other work is done.
On the baby front...everything is going well. I go to the doctor in 2 weeks and hopefully if Itty Bitty Smitty #2 cooperates, we will find out if this baby is a boy or a girl. Emma is still really hoping for a girl but we are trying to get her used to the idea of having a brother just in case. Part of the renovation has been preparing the babies room. Once everything is completed in the house I will post some pictures.

That is exciting... I can't wait to see the finished pictures.
WOW! That sounds like so much work. We gutted the master bath this summer and a guy completely redid it. I love the results and luckily we had two other full baths, so we weren't inconvienced to badly. I am hoping to redo portions of the kitchen this summer. We'll just see. I now have a blog, but there is no content there yet. Once I get some stuff up I'll let you know. I am so excited that you are having another baby. I too have the baby bug and hopefully this summer we will start trying again. Lots going on right now.. I need to pick up a phone and fill you in on the craziness of the Martin household. I'll do it soon!
